The perfect naughty little gift for your partner on Valentine's Day: a handstamped vintage dessertspoon with the following poem:
"Roses are red
Violets are blue
This poem sucks
Let's have a screw"
The words form a heart shape that is filled with flowers and hearts and kisses... so it's quite romantic really... as well as being a bit rude. Not as rude as some of my other spoons, mind you, but I'll leave you to discover those for yourself (they are in the 'Rude Spoons' collection in my shop). The heart turned out a bit wonky and not as heart-shaped as I would have liked, so I've reduced the price a bit to reflect this.
You will receive the spoon shown in the photos. It's a nice solid dessertspoon with a flowery handle (the pattern is 'Silver Rose' by Viners) and it's about 19cm long. It is vintage and pre-owned so there are a few small wear marks in the plating although generally it's in good nick. And I have polished the tarnish off the back since I took the photos. The black in the lettering is a non-toxic acrylic paint.
If you have a better idea for a handstamped valentine spoon, do get in touch, I love doing custom work and since each letter is individually stamped the possibilities for creative typography are endless!
