Full description
A 12.5 x 17 cm handmade layered Mother's Day Card, with beautiful peony flowers in rich jewel colours and gold embossed ink. The card comes supplied with a 100% recycled brown kraft envelope. The stamping, painting, cutting out and embossing on this card has been individually done by hand.
The base of the card is handmade from quality hammered white card. There is a layer of dark violet canvas style paper which is inked and distressed. On top of this is a layer of plain white distressed edged canvas paper, with the hand- stamped and watercoloured peonies and foliage. I have used watercolours in turquoise, violet and sapphire blue to create the effect of the petals and foliage.
The elements are carefully cut out by hand 'fussy cut' and some of the flowers are popped up on slim foam for dimension.
The stamped and embossed sentiment on the front reads HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY in gold embossed ink. The inside of the card is plain white with a simple stamped sentiment in grey ink reading HAVE A SPECIAL DAY and finished with 2 grey outline peony buds.
Sent to you protected in a wrapper inside a brown recyclable board backed envelope via FIRST CLASS ROYAL MAIL.
