Full description
This beautiful crow, with his thoughtful expression, is created using pyrography, burning on wood, and coloured using acrylic ink and coloured pencils. It is finished with linseed oil.
The piece is 3mm laser cut birch plywood and is approximately 7.5cm x 11.5cm.
Wood is a natural item so there will be imperfections in the grain. Pyrography can fade in direct sunlight and wood items are best situated away from extremes of temperature and humidity. I try to photograph my items in natural light but colours can appear differently on different monitors and devices.
