Full description
A beautifully soft and lightweight scarf in natural grey merino wool with an array of coloured flowers formed from silk fibres. The main body of the scarf is formed from several fine layers of natural grey merino wool that has been wet felted. Various coloured silk fibres have been used to add a beautiful floral design on the ends of the scarf prior to felting. The floral design has been added to one side of the scarf only with the reverse left plain as shown in the photographs.
The resulting scarf is soft and lightweight, suitable for draping around the shoulders as a shawl in summer but long enough to wrap around or tie at the neck for additional warmth in winter, The scarf measures approximately 164cm x 25cm
The scarf will arrive wrapped in tissue paper with a card detailing information about the felting process and full washing instructions.
Please note: The scarf should be washed by hand in warm water and allowed to dry naturally. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
