One of the reasons I love the hammered finish is that each dent represents a strike mark made by the hand. It's quite common in jewellery making to file out and polish over the marks created while we craft - but instead the hammered finish showcases them.
I always prefer a super shiny finish for a hammered texture. It allows the faceted surface of the metal to reflect the light, giving a shimmering appearance.
I've chosen to apply this texture to one of the most versatile of jewellery items - the Sterling Silver bangle. The bangle appeals to many for it easy styling.
Wear simply on it's own, or stack them with other shapes and styles.
Wear it with jeans and T-shirt, or wear it with a summers dress.

Measuring just 2.5mm in it's diameter, this is a slim, shiny hammered bangle in solid Sterling Silver.
Stack them, or wear one on it's own - the hammered bangle is a staple jewellery design that will suit just about any one, and go with any outfit.
Each bangle is individually formed by hand, working the wire around a mandrel with a raw hide mallet. Once soldered closed and pre-polished, each bangle is given a hammered texture using a planishing hammer. Only then is bangle is then given its final polish, really making each hammer strike sparkle.
Available in sizes Small or Medium. The size is measured across the bangles total inside diameter. As the bangle does not unfasten, the whole hand will need to pass through the space.
Hallmarked at the London Assay Office. This mark ensures you of the metal finesse, dates the piece and contains my unique makers mark.
Upon ordering, the bangle will be wrapped in tissue paper and tucked inside a cotton drawstring bag.
