We love to bring new life to old furniture. This is a vintage stool probably from the 1960s or 70s. We have updated its look by reupholstering it with very high quality Bute 100% wool in three vibrant colours, to which we have added abstract patterns hand embroidered and also painted on the legs. It is a bit of a crazy mix of inspiration from the art of Miró and the 80s Memphis Design.

Full description
This is a really funky vibrant handcrafted stool, that can serve as a bold accent piece in any room of the house, such as in a dresser table, a piano stool, a kids room seat. A vintage item (probably from the 60s or 70s), that has been upcycled and brought up to date with a combination of handmade touches. The seat fabric is made up of 3 pieces of very cool and high quality Bute 100% wool material in bright green, orange and brown. To these bold fabrics we have added handmade embroidery abstract patterns and geometrical painted shapes on the legs, in a bit of a crazy mix of inspiration from the art of Miro and the 80s Memphis Design. The legs are teak and the hand painted motifs have been done with acrylic paints, these have been varnished with a high shin polyurethane varnish for protection of the painted patterns and a long lasting finish.
The seat measures 60cm wide by 40 cm deep. The height of the stool is 41 cm.
