This is based on one of the UK’s largest moths, I’m always amazed at how overlooked moths are when they come in a staggering array of shapes and sizes. The hawk-moths have incredible colours and patterns, and that is what I wanted to capture with this.

Full description
Ceramic tile/plaque in with deaths head hawk-moth design. The moth is in front of a white moon with its wings spread out. The clay is a terracotta with a design printed into it and then coloured slips are added to give a graphic style. It has 2 holes and a brown cord so it can be hung.
