Many of my birds have nicknames and a back story, so please read the inspiration section in my listings to find out more about the residents.
This bird is inspired by the sparrowhawk who sometimes likes to eat it's lunch perched on my parent's garden fence. The fabric was taken from an upholstery fabric sample book. I like working with upholstery fabric for the different textures, and the reverse side is often also interesting to work with.
