It's now definitely Xmas Shopping time! Folksy is packed full of fabulous gift ideas and of course SPOONS are at the top of my suggestions list - they are long-lasting, planet-friendly, practical, postable and can be personalised to make the perfect gift for anybody, whether it's a budget buy for the office secret santa, a stocking filler for your partner, a joke present for your best mate or a classy offering for those well-off rellies who have everything (tip: I bet they don't have one of my spoons).

A plain and simple 'old english' tablespoon (and I mean a Proper Big Tablespoon, the sort you can dish out mounds of mashed potato with, and that holds an actual tablespoonful so you can use it for measuring ingredients) hand stamped with the short and sweet wording 'SUCK ON THIS'. I'm sure you can think of plenty of individuals for whom this would be an appropriate gift. It would be good for an office Secret Santa if you didn't particularly like your gift recipient, for example.
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. It's approximately 22cm long and the lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage spoon with signs of age and wear. I think someone's obliterated a monogram or logo on its handle (possibly to conceal the fact that it was nicked from somewhere? or maybe it was just repurposed from a closed-down hotel or something) although this in no way impairs its functionality as a kitchen utensil.
