It's now definitely Xmas Shopping time! Folksy is packed full of fabulous gift ideas and of course SPOONS are at the top of my suggestions list - they are long-lasting, planet-friendly, practical, postable and can be personalised to make the perfect gift for anybody, whether it's a budget buy for the office secret santa, a stocking filler for your partner, a joke present for your best mate or a classy offering for those well-off rellies who have everything (tip: I bet they don't have one of my spoons).

Tis the season to be w-nky! Possibly the rudest yet in my 'grumpy apostles' range, this makes an ideal office Secret Santa gift (particularly for a colleague you can't stand) or the perfect little joke stocking filler. You could even pretend that this is ALL you've got for a spoiled teenager this year.
The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Hand wash only.
'Apostle' spoons have little bearded book-carrying robed figures on the terminals. Your granny probably has some in her cutlery drawer, although I doubt your granny's ones are quite this rude. They are approx. 4 1/4" (10.5cm) long. You will receive the spoon shown in the photos - I don't do digital mockups. Please note the spoons I use are vintage (or possibly antique) so they do show signs of age and wear. If signs of age and wear bother you, please do look elsewhere for your handstamped cutlery; there are plenty of shops out there stamping on mint condition silverware. Personally I like things with a bit of character and history. These grumpy old guys have been around a bit... who knows how many cups of coffee they've stirred and how many Christmases they sadly haven't enjoyed?
If you would like something different on an apostle spoon, please let me know, they can be personalised with pretty much anything (provided it'll fit in the space!) and it's fun letting them say things they wouldn't have been allowed to say in Victorian times when they were new...
