Hello! I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. I sell Giclee Art prints, drawings, greeting cards, wrapping paper, stickers, ceramic ornaments and coasters, tote bags and wall calendars - all featuring my illustrations!

In the process of illustrating the powerful presence of this tree, the face started emerging and it naturally became a Buddha face. I had recently taken photos of ancient Buddha statues at the V&A Museum in London, so I was able to use their faces as inspiration.

Full description
I created 'Buddha Tree' with chalk pastel and coloured pencil. I often use surreal elements in my work, to communicate a sense of inner life.
The inside of the card is left blank for your own message, so it is suitable for any occasion.
Printed on sturdy 425 micron Ensocoat Greeting cardboard, the image is set in a white border (the third image shows the back of the card).
148mm x 148mm.
Each individual square card and envelope is enclosed in a clear cello sleeve.
This illustration also features in my 'Healing Trees' 2023 Wall Calendar, in December! The card and calendar make great companion pieces!
