Full description
A beautiful bluebird made with vibrant blue, streaky green and semi opaque iridescent blue glass sitting on a blossom branch. The glass used is a mixture of new and reclaimed, the dark blue came from an antique door and it is a beautiful vivid blue, the iridescent blue is new and because it's semi opaque gives a lovely feathery effect on the wings, the other bits used are left over from other pieces of work as I try to make sure no glass is ever wasted.
Created in the Tiffany Style the glass has been hand cut to shape and copper foiled before being soldered together. Decorative solder adds detail and it's are finished with a copper patina polished and sealed with silicon wax.
It measures approx 4 x 5" and hangs from a piece of coloured ribbon
