I love the countdown to Christmas and made an Advent Calendar for my husband and I many years ago which comes out every year. It's such a lovely tradition to have a calendar you can fill with treats each year.

Full description
Countdown to Christmas with this beautiful Advent Calendar featuring characters from Lewis and Irene's 'Tomtens Village' Collection. This eco-friendly calendar can be filled year after year and become a lovely new tradition for your Christmases to come.
The fabric Advent Calendar is dark blue and has 24 pockets with scenes featuring quirky gnome characters ready to be filled with small treats of your choice. It is approximately 36 inches (91cm) by 24 inches (61cm). The backing is a dark blue with small white circles enclosing characters from the front of the calendar. A layer of eco-friendly wadding (made from recycled plastic bottles) is used to give some weight to the calendar. The three layers are quilted together with wavy lines between the pockets and bound with the blue stars fabric from the same range as the front panel and backing fabric.
Two triangles of fabric are sewn into the top corners for the calendar so it can be hung using a piece of dowel between the two pieces.
I recommend washing at 30 degrees if required, do not tumble dry.
(Treats not included!).
