Helene is a Needle Felted Light caramel Moon Gazing Hare.
Created with 100% wool and amber glass eyes.
I used a beautiful Corriedale blend for Helene, along with some white and black New Zealand carded wool for the details and BFL curls for her chest.
Helene is sitting on a natural wooden slice covered in Suffolk moss and surrounded by small Rose Quartz crystals.
Her whiskers are created using horse tail hair.
Helene Hare is 6 inches tall, including the natural wooden slice.
Hares have always fascinated and inspired me. There are many myths and symbols associated with these amazing creatures throughout history.
I am extremely lucky to live in the sunny Suffolk countryside surrounded by fields. This needle felted woolly Caramel Hare was inspired by the hares I watch from my kitchen window.
Helene Hare was 100% needle felted and handmade by me.
Although I adore needle felting hares, each one of my creations is One-of-kind and will never be the same as another piece.
All my needle felted creations are for decoration only and not suitable for children.
