Winter sunsets on clear nights, when the last bit of pink is still in the sky yet the lavenders and darker blues are starting to descend as the world turns towards night, are one of nature's best artworks. I used to secretly peer out from under the curtains in my bedroom as a child, watching the sun set and the starts come out. Attempting to capture those colours, and the hues imbued at twilight to low-growing mountain and moorland heathers, is what led me to make this scarf. There is some hand-spun content in this soft, squidgy, warm scarf.
