Part-time spinner, natural dyer, weaver and self-confessed plant-a-holic

Inspired by nature's colours, both in plants themselves and through the rainbow available from natural plant dyes, I enjoy combining traditional hand-made textile creation techniques with nature's own artistry in form and palette. I'm also conscious of treading lightly on the planet, and sometimes incorporate recycled or up-cycled fabrics and materials that would otherwise go to waste. I'm self-taught, and have learned a huge amount from others over the years, but I'm not a 'professional' working full time at crafting, like many of the wonderful makers here on Folksy.
