Poison dart frogs are tiny but deadly tropical amphibians. A diet of caterpillars and ants creates a toxic discharge on their skin that can be poisonous enough to kill a grown human in 2 mins!
I love the range of vibrant hues these tiny creatures display, letting other animals know that they really, really shouldn't have them as a snack.

A linocut print of a tropical frog on handmade Nepalese lokta paper. The image has been printed twice, once as a "sunset fade" of pinks, yellows and reds, then again in black to create a slightly trippy visual.
This is an original print handmade using traditional linocut techniques. After carving the image out of a lino block it is hand burnished onto paper.
The nature of lino as a medium means that the final results are unique to each print. differences in the ink, pressure and paper mean that you will have a unique work of art with evidence of the creative processes involved.
This print is 20cm x 20cm on deckled edged paper.
It is delivered unframed but in protective packaging.
