Full description
Mist at Dawn an orginal mixed media textile artwork. Framed in a white 16 x 12 inch frame.
Layers of paint built up with mono printing using grasses and seedheads collected from walking around the lake. More details are added with free motion embroidery. Tiny seed beads add more interest, emulating the dewdrops on the grasses and wild flowers.
The early morning sun is peeping through the morning mist and glistening on the silver dewdrops adorning the grasses around the lakes edge. The light is dreamlike and ethereal.
