Many of the pieces I make are made to order and the shipping time is a 'worse case scenario' estimate - I will often make and send items quicker than indicated, although things do sometimes slow down at busy times. If you want something urgently, just message me and I'll confirm if I can meet your deadline. Some items over £30 are posted via the 'Tracked 24' Royal Mail service automatically, but if you'd like to make sure you have this on your order, just message me.

This little coin purse is the perfect size to pop into your pocket with a little cash, a key and maybe a lip balm, when you want to travel light. It's also a great way to wrap up a money gift for a birthday or holiday gift.

Full description
I make the purse with a beautiful and delicate Tana Lawn print called 'Wild Flowers' by Su Blackwell, which is a recollection of early childhood journeys across the British landscape in discovery of native flora. This joyous Liberty fabric was initially inspired by illustrations from an early 19th Century book, 'Field Guide to Wild Flowers in Britain'. This particular version is a new colourway for 2022 called 'Bright', but you can find both a white and a black background version in my shop too.
The purse outer is interfaced for strength and I add some soft fleece to give a puffy effect that feels nice in your hand. The inside of the purse is lined with a Palm Green Essex Linen, which is also interfaced with woven cotton and hard wearing enough to stand up to those coins jiggling about but still beautifully soft.
The engraved metal frame of the purse is a silver colour and I hand stitch it into place using a perle cotton in a toning green shade.
The purse measures 8cm (3.25 inches) across at the top of the frame and 10cm (4 inches) across at the bottom, where I box off the corners to give a little depth to the bottom of the purse of 3.5cm (1.5 inches). It stands a little over 9cm (3.5 inches) tall, which is just right to carry a credit card or two.
