Full description
This postcard features the characters Alice and the Cheshire Cat with a humorous message.
The Cheshire Cat was most grateful for his ability to disappear, as yet another crazy cat lady approached.
The image is made using papers carefully cut from well read and damaged editions of vintage and antiquarian books which are assembled by hand to create the photographed/scanned image.
Books used for this design are -
Alice's Adventures In Wonderland and Through The Looking-Glass (1927) with illustrations by John Tenniel.
Hypatia (1891).
The postcard measures 10.5 cm x 14.8 cm and is printed on 240gsm card.
