Full description
Carisbrooke Castle, which is located in the village of Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight, England is infamous for the incarcerating of King Charles 1 during the end of the Civil War. Having visited on several occasions I felt inspired to create this. Each plaster cast is painstakingly painted using high-pigment acrylics to give an appearance as true to the original as possible.
Meticulous attention to detail ensures this piece is outstanding in every way. Each cast will be numbered, with a limited run of just 500 pieces in total. You will receive with your purchase a certificate printed on parchment with a wax seal detailing the history of the Castle and signed by the artist. Handmade on the Isle of Wight.
