I have a love of history and all things Roman and have enjoyed creating a few replica Roman Altars.

Full description
A stone carved replica of a Small Roman Altar. This has DEO carved on the front and a bowl carved in the top for the offering with some circles around the top. Deo meaning simply 'God'.
An altar was a feature of a Roman house to protect the family by honouring the Gods with incense (or maybe nowadays some nice pot pourri!)
This unique, one off item is hand carved using traditional methods with hammer and chisel from a block of stone. It is made from a reclaimed piece of stone from a local quarry hence the uneven look.
Display inside or as a feature in the garden.
