Snowflake Obsidian! A beautiful and tactile gemstone made into Keyring with patina silver tone findings. Could be used as a handbag charm.
The wonderful little snowflake Obsidian has been tumbled and highly polished and has variations of colour and markings, from deep inky black to silver grey and white snowflake patches.
It is a highly polished tumblestone, beautuful from all aspects, which has silver tone crown bail fitment glued to the narrow end at the top, through which I placed silver tone small ring, curb chain and 2cm flip clasp, to allow this item to function as a keyring or handbag charm.
The snowflake obsidian is in a freeform rounded shape and alone measures approx 27mms in total length, with a width across the widest point of approx 20mms and a depth of approx 10mms, the whole keyring measures approx 78mms in length.
I just adored this obsidian Tumblestone. I know there are collectors out there, and lovers of black stones in general, so this would make a wonderful gift for any Gemstone enthusiast. Gemstone Keyrings, or handbag charms are a real joy to make and a pleasure to own.
As this item is a natural gemstone, it is not unbreakable, so not for robust use.
