PACK of 2 wet felting balls: Purple Large and Green Medium felting ball.
Fantastic wet felting balls to use as 3D resist forms to create shaped wet felted items such as bags/purses, hats and vessels/bowls/baskets. These are high quality inflatable balls, firm enough to use from c.30”/76cm - 37”/94cm in circumference (Purple); and 25"/64cm - 30"/76cm (Green). Please note that the maximum sizes are as advised by the manufacturer - the balls will inflate bigger than this but it would be at your own risk. They are made of a hard wearing rubber material; its slight texture helps to hold the wool fibre in place during wet felting.
The balls come with plugs and straws for inflating by blowing into them. However, I recommend using some kind of pump (hand, bicycle, foot etc) to inflate them.
The balls do not have specific instructions for use but, if you are interested in how I’ve developed my own instructions and projects using them, then my book Wet Felting (published in April 2022 - see my other listings) includes a whole chapter on using the Purple Large ball. I also have online courses - visit www.natashasmarttextiles.co.uk for details.
NB The plastic bowls shown to prop the balls up are not included - any household bowls will work. Photos show the balls in use and typical finished items.
