Green Medium-sized wet felting ball, inflatable c.25"/64cm - 30"/76cm in circumference. If you are on my online Felt Bag on a Ball course, please purchase the Purple Large ball, although there is a bonus tutorial to make a small bag using this Green ball.
Fantastic wet felting ball to use as a 3D resist form to create shaped wet felted items such as small bags/purses, children's hats and small vessels/bowls/baskets. This is a high quality inflatable ball, firm enough to use from c.25"/64cm in circumference and will safely increase to c.30"/76cm as advised by the manufacturer (it will inflate bigger but please be aware that it would be at your own risk). It is made of a hard wearing rubber material; its slight texture helps to hold the wool fibre in place during wet felting.
The ball comes with a plug and a straw for inflating by blowing into it. However, I would recommend using some kind of pump (hand, bicycle, foot etc) to inflate it.
The ball does not have specific instructions for use but, if you are interested in how I’ve developed my own projects using it, then my book Wet Felting (published in April 2022 - see my other listing) includes a chapter using the Purple Large ball.
NB The plastic bowl shown to prop the ball up is not included - any bowl will work for this.
