If you are in the USA please purchase your ball from www.livingfelt.com.
Please see my YouTube video on how to inflate your ball: https://youtu.be/9UAHYPoUg2M
ORIGINAL Purple Large-sized wet felting ball, inflatable in the approximate range 30”/76cm - 37”/94cm in circumference. Please purchase this ball if you are following my online Felt Bag on a Ball course or the projects in my book (visit my website for details).
Fantastic wet felting ball to use as a 3D resist form to create shaped wet felted items such as bags/purses, hats and vessels/bowls/baskets. This is a high quality inflatable ball, which is firm enough to use from c.30”/76cm in circumference and will safely increase to c.37”/94cm (it will inflate bigger than this but it would be at your own risk). It is made of a hard wearing rubber material; its slight texture helps to hold the wool fibre in place during wet felting.
The ball comes with a plug (plus spare plug) and a straw for inflating by blowing into it. However, I would recommend using some kind of pump (hand, bicycle, foot etc) to inflate it.
The ball does not have specific instructions for use but, if you are interested in how I’ve developed my own instructions and projects using it, my book Wet Felting (published in April 2022) includes a whole chapter on it.
NB The plastic bowl shown to prop the ball up is not included - any household bowl will be fine to use. Photos show the ball in use and typical finished items made with it.
