Full description
This piece was inspired by my local forest and how the barn owl watches at night under the stars and how peaceful he looks.
This piece has been made firstly with the trees and owl being burned into the wood using pyrography. I then paint the surrounding scene with mixed media and then finally I seal it.
It’s approx 16cm in diameter.
All my creations are my own design and composition.
Each piece is unique.
As wood is a raw material it has it’s own knots and imperfections adding to the beauty of the piece.
It is varnished to protect it but to further protect please keep out of direct sunlight.
