Inspired by my pebble collection and what can be peeked through the eye of the hag stones that I gather on my local beach. Tradition says that the fairy folk can be seen through a hag stone but I only spy a 'polar bear' ;o) Have you seen the Wight bear?
An original collagraph monoprint with added drawing exploring shape and textures contained within the local stone - a geological record of the history of this wonderous and evolving coastline.
Measuring 23x20cmcm (approx 9x7.75 inch) in shades of ochre, cream and grey on white paper. This print will come to you cello wrapped and nestled between card to arrive safely through the post.
Whilst every care is taken in photographing the artwork please be aware that colours can vary according to your monitor settings.
The materials used in the painting are artist’s quality to ensure longevity but as with all original artwork it is best hung out of direct sunlight.
