Full description
Pieces of well worn denim jeans have been carefully sewn together with a large, fully functional pocket from an additional pair of jeans to make this recycled mini cross body bag. Perfect for summer - throw in your phone, purse, sunglasses and a few essentials. This little bag has been designed to be lightweight casual and convenient with a grungy vibe.
Handmade, and reducing waste by using pieces of clean, recycled denim jeans from larger projects, I've made the most of the character of the denim whilst fully strengthening any worn or frayed patches.
It has a batik print cotton lining. An olive green strap compliments the fabric of the lining and attaches to the bag with silver coloured metal lobster hooks and d-rings and is adjustable to approx 157cm. Or, if you prefer, choose a pink or light khaki strap instead.
The opening is secured by a flap made from a section of the waistband and is secured with a silver coloured magnetic snap closure.
The front of the bag has a usable jeans pocket - an additional slip pocket inside is suitable for a mobile phone and pens etc. Also inside, is a key hook attached to the lining of the bag.
Suitable for letterbox posting, it will arrive boxed and wrapped carefully in tissue paper making it perfect to send as a gift.
Measurements (approx): depth at centre of bag 22cm, width 20.5cm.
