I realised that the die's that I use to make images, could also be used as a stencil template. By using the hexagon hive thinlit, I was able to use a blend of two colours; tempting turquoise and pumpkin pie to create a brightness and shadow effect on the card. I added the large swallowtail butterfly stamp in black archival ink, slightly offset and not including the whole butterfly either. I added a simple Thank You sentiment in script style lettering with some ink splatters to add texture to the card on the card front.

A beautiful set of handmade cards with a stencilled hexagon hive style background with ink blended tones of orange and turquoise on vanilla cardstock. Large stamped swallowtail butterfly in archival black ink on the front.
