Fluorite has been called 'the most colourful mineral in the world' because it can be found in all colours of the spectrum.
A translucent stone, the most commonly found shades are green, purple, yellow, and blue.
Fluorite was associated with the Roman goddess Minerva, Goddess of Wisdom.
It was thought that Fluorite stimulated the brain cells, enabling the two hemispheres of the brain to work in harmony, bringing clarity and calm.

Pretty, pastel necklace made mostly from 6mm and 4mm Fluorite with some 4mm Agate beads.
The Fluorite beads are a mix of translucent pale greens and purples, while the Agate beads are darker blues and reds.
I have embellished the necklace with 6mm and 4mm Tibetan-style silver stardust beads to add some sparkle and shine, and finished with an easy-fastening Tibetan-style silver toggle clasp
These are nickel and lead free.
