Full description
This is Hetty the Needle Felted Curly Hedgehog.
Hetty was created using wool, wire and black, glass eyes.
I used Corriedale wool and the most beautiful coloured Bluefaced Leicester curls for this project with a tiny bit of white and black New Zealand Sheep wool for the details.
Hetty Hedgehog is sitting on a natural wooden slice with dried Suffolk moss.
Hetty’s wooden base is approximately 9.5cm by 11cm. Hetty herself is approximately 9 by 12cm. And her height is approximately 7cm tall, including the base.
Hedgehogs are beautiful nocturnal creatures who are rarely seen these days. I am very lucky to have at least one in my garden. Although I’ve never seen him, he leaves his droppings so we know he’s still there.
Hetty the Curly Hedgehog was 100% needle felted and handmade by me.
I adore needle felting these creatures and each project is one-of-a-kind. As my creations are all handmade, they will never be the same.
Needle felted items are for decoration only, not suitable for small children and must be handled with care.
