Mr.Fox is walking across a snowy landscape on a clear moonlit night... I had good fun embroidering this onto some lovely charcoal grey essex linen. A strip of white vintage lace has been stitched into place to represent the snow that the embroidered fox is walking on. The moon and the stars have been stitched in satin thread which has a beautiful sheen so they can shine just a bit. At the bottom of the design is a burnt orange cotton that mirrors the colours of Mr.Fox beautifully. The back of the purse is made in the essex linen with a fox's tail in the top right corner and my label at the bottom. Inside, the purse is lined in a vintage looking musical print cotton with 'moonlight and rose' amongst the songs included. I thought that added a fun and romantic detail for the moonlit design.

This handy and completely unique one of a kind little purse has a professional bronze kiss lock frame securely glued in place which gives the purse a nice structure as well as the ability to be opened up wide for easy access to all of the goodies you have stored inside. It has a wide flat bottom making for a surprisingly roomy bag too. You could use this as a coin purse or to keep your jewellery safe when travelling, it is also perfect for hiding sweets (my favourite use) or to keep small items together in your handbag so you don't need to rummage around at the bottom of your bag.

Measurements approx. 15cm at widest point x 12cm to top of kiss lock x 4.7cm deep

The fox in the meadow behind my house is quite elusive. I can hear him at night but it is too dark for me to see him. I've often hoped I would catch a glimpse of him in the moonlight one night. When I walk in the field after the snow in the winter I can see where he has been the night before and enjoy tracing his footsteps in the snow.
