Welcome to my Folksy shop! After selling my art and illustrations for 18 months I decided to create a shop specifically for my original works such as lino prints, screen prints and paintings.
In 2021, I was lucky enough to meet a little armadillo, hold him and stroke him. I took loads of photographs of him because I knew I had to draw him. I loved his round shape, and when I'd committed a design to paper I decided it would look lovely to add in a little friend for him. Adding a little love heart between the two felt like a nice touch, and I then researched desert flowers so I could add some floral details to frame the print.

Full description
This is an original linocut print of two lovely armadillos surrounded by desert flowers, made using oil-based black relief ink and hand-printed on 51gsm Japanese paper in a warm, natural colour. The print is number 4 in the first variation of an open edition. The print measures approximately 12 high by 18.5cm wide, and comes editioned, signed and dated.
The photos I have used in this listing are of the exact print you will receive. As no two lino prints will ever look the same, please check the images to ensure you are happy with the print.
If you live in the UK, the print is sent using Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class. For all other countries it will be sent using Royal Mail International Standard Tracked & Signed.
