A mountain gorilla looks around tenderly at her baby, who she carries on her back.
This unique, one-off wet and needle felted artwork is made from merino wool and silk fibres.
It represents part of my series of ‘I need space…’ felted ’posters’ designed to raise awareness about endangered animals.
Mountain gorillas in parts of Africa have had their environment destroyed due to the effects of war.
This original piece has been mounted on A2 size mount board and framed ready to hang and enjoy.
The edges of this felted art piece have been left raw and uneven as is traditional, to show the handcrafted process.
