This is a unique original watercolour painting of a labyrinth. The labyrinth is an age-old traditional symbol of journeying and self-discovery used for meditation. This painting was inspired by my experience of walking a labyrinth is a delightful garden, so I have shown the hedges outlining the path. In the four corners are plants associated with the seasons, representing time and change as well as nature: primroses for spring, strawberries for summer, acorns for autumn and mistletoe for winter.
Using artist-quality paints on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 30 cm square (image size 20 cm square) - that’s approximately 12” (8”) - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame.
