Welcome to Jackdaw Bindery - thank you so much for visiting! Here you will find a wonderful selection of hand-bound soft cover leather and cork wrap journals and sketchbooks, created using a range of hand selected materials. Each and every item that you find in my shop has been hand-bound by myself in my little studio in West Ashling, West Sussex on the South Coast of England.
All of the leather I use have been sourced as a by-product from the upholstery and automotive trade which may otherwise end up as waste. If you have an idea for a custom book, I would love work with you to create the perfect handbound journal for your needs, just get in touch and we can go from there!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Choose your favourite solid coloured pages or a happy mixture of your choice, these A6 hand bound leather journals are so much fun!
Just select your page colour, page type and leather colours from the drop-down lists when you add the item to your basket. You can even mix and match to your hearts desire, just select "Something else..?" when selecting from the paper colour drop-down and then use the next "Something else..?" box to let me know your preference. Each journal contains 6 signatures (these are the separate sections of pages) so any factor of 6 will fit nicely, though I'm happy to do whatever you like to make your journal perfect for you.
Perfect for on the move, 120 page 6x4" journal, hand-bound into a beautifully soft leather. It secures using a slither of leather attached to the cover flap which wraps around the journal and tucks in neatly to keep your work safe and sound.
The perfect size to keep close by, in your bag bed side cabinet car to note down all your thoughts, dreams, lists, poems and doodles.. anything!
