Welcome to Jackdaw Bindery - thank you so much for visiting! Here you will find a wonderful selection of hand-bound soft cover leather and cork wrap journals and sketchbooks, created using a range of hand selected materials. Each and every item that you find in my shop has been hand-bound by myself in my little studio in West Ashling, West Sussex on the South Coast of England.
All of the leather I use have been sourced as a by-product from the upholstery and automotive trade which may otherwise end up as waste. If you have an idea for a custom book, I would love work with you to create the perfect handbound journal for your needs, just get in touch and we can go from there!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A6 music manuscript journal, hand-bound into soft leather in your choice of colour. It secures using a slither of leather attached to the cover flap which wraps around the journal and tucks in neatly to keep your work safe and sound. The pages in this journal are lined with music staff paper. There are 4 different options to select from, you can see these amongst the images. Each option shows the book pages as they will appear with the book open.
Option 1:
8 staves on every other page (your book will begin with a blank page).
1.5mm line spacing with 11mm between staves.
Option 2:
8 staves per page throughout entire book.
1.5mm line spacing with 11mm between staves.
Option 3:
6 staves on every other page (your book will begin with a blank page).
1.7mm line spacing with 15mm between staves.
Option 4:
6 staves per page throughout entire book.
1.7mm line spacing with 15mm between staves.
