Welcome to Jackdaw Bindery - thank you so much for visiting! Here you will find a wonderful selection of hand-bound soft cover leather and cork wrap journals and sketchbooks, created using a range of hand selected materials. Each and every item that you find in my shop has been hand-bound by myself in my little studio in West Ashling, West Sussex on the South Coast of England.
All of the leather I use have been sourced as a by-product from the upholstery and automotive trade which may otherwise end up as waste. If you have an idea for a custom book, I would love work with you to create the perfect handbound journal for your needs, just get in touch and we can go from there!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

The perfect companion for any budding chef, baker, cook, foodie. A simple layout recipe book to hold all of your treasured recipes, hand bound into soft leather with a cover that wraps around the pages and secures with a leather tie, keeping your work safe.
This recipe journal is A6 in size with 120 pages and holds space for 59 recipes, each set across a double page spread. There is a blank back page and front page with a title 'Recipes'. Each recipe section contains space for the following info: recipe title, prep time, cooking time, servings, 14 ingredients, 20 lines to write your method, 4 lines for your notes. All of the text in this journal can be edited before I print and bind your journal, so if you need something changed please don't hesitate to get in touch!
