Having sold 2 of this design here on Folksy where my customers had only seen photos of the piece they were buying, I was delighted when, at a Summer Fair, where my work is for sale 'in person' and not just as a photograph,someone picked this suncatcher out as something she just had to have and bought it. I've quite a few since, all different.
Postage is set for first class signed for on this piece to cover Royal Mail insurance values.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A stunning design of circles, a rainbow circle for a border and filling of 18 round glass nuggets. all of them are fused by me in my glass kiln and all with different patterns including lots of shiny dichroic glass. I've also included a pretty slice of millefiori.
I've used a good mix of glass textures for the 8 segment rainbow border to give it lots of movement.
I love making this design. Very colourful and I think, visually exciting with the mix of shades and patterns in the nuggets.
The circle is framed for strength and neatness with twisted wire.
This is 14cms in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
it is would make a wonderfully bright addition to any room.
It is totally individual and I am really pleased with it.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
I can never make another just the same as this, as each fused nugget is quite unique and therefore unrepeatable.
