After visiting the Northumbrian coast for a number of years I finally overcame my minor fear of actually sailing on the North Sea and visited The Farne Islands during the breeding season. I had been commissioned to produce a puffin design and so I apprehensively embarked on the journey one beautiful spring day to find an impressive colony of these cheeky birds. With their vibrant coloured bills and comical manner I was captivated.
Many photographs later these designs are the result.

This beautiful handmade purse is made from Linen Look Cotton fabric. The purse is lined with soft cotton and has a zip fastening. It features one of my own unique designs on the front cover and is stitched using the Freehand Machine Embroidery technique.
The purse has a multiple of uses. Use as a coin purse, a small cosmetic purse to carry your favourite lipstick or your spare camera battery and memory card.
The Freehand Machine Embroidery technique involves “drawing” in thread, using the needle as your pencil, on a basic sewing machine. The resulting picture is therefore unique and no two pieces will be the same.
The Case measures approximately 8cm x 11cm.
PLEASE NOTE: These are handmade so no two are absolutely identical.
