I love using geometric shapes in my designs and hexagons or a honeycomb pattern is something I find fascinating to look at. I love my furniture to feel like functional pieces of art so that when you look at it, it speaks to you. I like to experiment with colour as I paint each piece, so although I knew I wanted the main colour theme to be in green when I start, the colours evolve as I am painting each piece especially as I will sometimes mix up my own rather than just taking every colour from the tin. This was a design I came up with early on when I started painting furniture, it's classic, simple yet chic!
