I was looking at ways to use different materials and textures, to make a more masculine card. I liked how the string and buttons worked together. This design is simple yet effective.

Nothing says Happy Birthday to someone special to you, the way a handmade card does. It shows you made an extra effort, rather than pop by your local shop for a 99p mass produced card.
This card measures approx 6 x 6 inches and comes with an envelope. Its card base is Kraft Card for a natural look. It features a grey, wood panel background and a dark blue stripe with button detail and natural jute string. It has the wording 'Happy Birthday' on the front, in a 3d style, to make it stand out more. The card has an inner leaf, left blank, for you to write your own personal inside.
