SALE £150
Red Hill, Blue Moon is an original, abstract mixed media oil painting on canvas with a 3" lime washed wooden frame and slip. I built layers up on the canvas with coloured tissue paper, various papers, copper, tissue,photos, texture medium and a variety of media, which I then overpainted with oils.
In my paintings, I like to explore how the paint and colour are affected by the texture of the material underneath, and how these in turn are affected by light- I find my pictures often look different at different times of the day, depending on how the light hits the surface of the canvas, and maybe highlights a piece of gold foil, or a glimpse of shiny paper.
This painting is 67 x 56cm in size including the frame.
It will be well packaged in bubble wrap and cardboard and sent within UK by Parcelforce. I reuse packaging.
