Full description
Super soft orange merino wool and a multicoloured blend of recycled sari silk fibres have been used to create this scarf. Fine layers of merino wool topped with silk fibres have been wet felted, a process that causes the fibres to bind together. The resulting scarf is soft, lightweight and very striking.
The silk fibres, are in a blend of many colours (predominantly orange) add colour, texture and a beautiful sheen to the surface of the scarf. Theses silk fibres have been added to one side of the scarf only with the reverse left plain.
The scarf measures approximately 172cm (68") x 25cm (10"), long enough to wrap around or tie at the neck for additional warmth if required
The scarf will be supplied wrapped in pretty tissue paper with information about the felting process and full washing instructions.
An excellent gift idea for mothers day, a 7th (wool) anniversary or any other occasion.
Hand wash in warm water.
