I have wanted to make a Tumbling Blocks patchwork for years, as I love the three dimensional effect of putting fabrics together in this way. I have been looking into the effects of different colour combinations and decided to try sewing the blocks with different tones and patterns of the same turquoise colour, to see what would happen! I love how this deceives the eye and it makes me smile to look at it - hope it does you too! I absolutely love to hand sew and quilt and take every opportunity to do so, especially if I can try out new quilting patterns and threads - so this mini quilt is about me having fun and hoping the new owner connects with it in the same way.
