The No14:3 is one of my newer designs, expanding my range of tie waist aprons with neck ties for craftspeople who prefer a 'secure-fit. It is based on the No14:2 pleated split leg apron - but pleats aren't everyone's style so the No14:3 has more of a contemporary workshop look. No pleats means room for a larger pocket and a special angled pocket for tools plus a tool loop for hanging your cleaning cloth. This design also features soft woven herringbone ties in a contrast colour.
Working in my studio in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches using cotton canvas, denim or drill - fabrics that are natural, washable and durable. Careful attention to detail, strength of construction and beautiful stitching result in a quality of finish simply not possible in mass production. I cut fabric economically, minimising waste and saving the small remnants to make one-of-a-kind bags for my ‘Boro Collection’.
