Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.

The smell of lavender always takes me back to the ceramic pomanders of my childhood!
These pouches combine that lovely scent within a soft, tactile bag. Relaxing to touch and to inhale with the added bonus of that lovely rainbow motif.

This lavender filled sachet would make a lovely gift; an aromatic ‘little something’ for a friend, relative or work colleague, with its shape and size making it an easy gift to pop in the post.
Hang from a doorknob, bedstead or cupboard handle or pop into a drawer or wardrobe to add a subtle scent to clothing. For an extra boost of scent, just give the pouch a little squeeze.
The rainbow umbrella motif is a print of one of my original hand-stitched designs, ‘Ella’; a serene rainy day image stitched in black thread and vibrant embroidery silks onto a natural, unbleached calico. ‘Ella’ features here digitally printed onto a lovely cotton drill, courtesy of the team at Woven Monkey.
The pouch is backed with a natural unbleached calico and is lightly filled with aromatic dried English lavender.
The pouch measures approx. 6cm x 13cm, excluding the hanging ribbon.
