Full description
This is a textile collage of the view from my sewing room window, which looks onto the Obney hills in Perthshire. I have used various fabrics from my stash, including hand dyed green felt for some of the grass and gold organza over the hills. It is hand embroidered using running stitches and couching stitches and is sewn onto white linen fabric.
The textile collage itself, including the linen backing, is 11” by 10.5” (28cm by 26.5cm) and it is laid onto a white mounting board which is A3 size (11.75”by 16.5” 297cm by 420cm).
