Wonky log cabin blocks has long been on my list of blocks to try out and they were just as much fun as I had imagined! Due to the recent use of rainbow images to support the NHS, I decided to use nine colour blocks, including the rainbow colours in their correct order. I have around 20 plus years of fabric scraps from all the projects I have ever worked on and many of these are included in these blocks, so its a bit of a celebration of my years of sewing and of repurposing fabrics rather than throwing them away. The different fabrics and the hand quilting really give this mini quilt a lovely texture and its hard to resist running your fingers over it!
I love the contrast of the tonal blocks of colour against the denim blue fabric, I think it really 'pops' and always makes me smile - hope it does you too!

Full description
This is a miniature patchwork quilt, meant for hanging on your wall to add decoration and personality to your room. It consists of nine blocks of wonky log cabin design, in colours of the rainbow using scrap fabrics from my stash. These are then surrounded by a denim blue cotton fabric and hand quilted with a space dyed cotton thread in a trailing leaf design.
Size is 24" square.
The miniature patchwork quilt can be hung with Command Strips.
